Atonement PTL is sponsoring a Book Fair, September 21-29, 2017, and you can begin shopping online starting September 10th. Send out of town relatives the online link so they can shop! The Book Fair will be on the 2nd floor of the main building in Assembly Room 2, across from the 4th grade classroom. The theme is WILD WEST with a Western Dress Up Day ($2 per child) on Friday, September 22nd. We will donate the Dress Up Funds to a Lutheran School affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Atonement Lutheran School will receive 55% of the total sales of the Book Fair to purchase more books for the library, electronics and much more! This is a fun event to volunteer for, too! Please sign up HERE.
Please be advised that Atonement Lutheran School, by policy, follows the lead of the Jefferson Parish Public School System when it comes to school closure announcements. Should JPPSS announce that it is closing school, the ALCS will close as well.
The difference is that sometimes we do not reopen (return to school) the same time as JPPSS. Once a closure is announced, we will blast email updates via Sycamore to keep you posted on school reopening information.
- Please remember that supplies may need to be replenished throughout the year. Hint/Tip: Stocking up on some essentials while things are on sale might be a good idea.
- Bibles will be given as a gift from PTL to all new students and all 2nd grade students. These will be delivered to your student's classroom when they arrive. If your student has lost theirs, or you are in need of a new one, please stop by the office. New bibles are $15.
- Students in Grades 5-8 are required to wear a PE uniform. The form to order those through Atonement's Booster Club is here. Complete the order form and drop it off to the School Office. Uniforms will be delivered to the classroom.
- While it is not chilly quite yet, Booster's Club is also selling Atonement Sweatshirts which students are permitted to wear in the classroom. The order form for those are here.
